Janice Kennel Ropp: Store Manager

Janice has been on the Gifts of the World Board and worked as a volunteer in the store from the beginning. She took over as manager from Pauline Kennel in June of 2010. One of her favorite things is telling new customers about the mission of the store and fair trade. She enjoys picking out and ordering the merchandise we sell and loves that our little store makes such a difference in the lives of the artisans!

Pauline Kennel: Store Founder

In 1993, during her time as co-pastor of Christ Community Mennonite Church, Pauline opened Gifts of the World as a way to promote Fair Trade, a cause dear to her heart. She gave selflessly of her time and effort, drafting volunteers , spreading the message, and keeping the store going as manager for 17 years before retiring and handing over her beloved store to her daughter, Janice.
